I purchased my 1977 MGB in Texas that has a lot of sentimental value to my family and I. In 1992 I shipped it
from Texas to American Samoa, a US Territory located in the South Pacific. It is the only MGB located on the
island and won 1st Place Overall Winner (Best of Show) at the American Samoa Inaugural Auto Show (2006).
It has a British Motor Heritage Certificate that authenticates this MGB as a LHD, North American Export with a
build date of 13 May 1977. Color: (a) exterior; Chartreuse, (b) trim; Black, (c) hood (top); Black. Factory Fitted
Equipment: Rostyle wheels, Tonneau cover, Whitewall tires. Date of dispatch was 26 May 1977, Destination -
(Dealer); USA. Other Key numbers: FS.905, FT.107, 2637.
In 2003 I started to make preparations to completely restore my MGB down to every nut and bolt. The only
parts that remained were the undercarriage, body panels, front suspension, although new parts were added, and
the rear axle. I started ordering parts and storing them in my garage until I had everything that I needed to finish
the project. In 2005 the restoration began, approximately 3 months later it was finished with a lot of upgrades to
make a more modern MGB. Even though the restoration is completed I still make sure it is a never ending project.
When I find new items or have new ideas I add them.
